Truly amazing experience! Gui was a wonderful, friendly guide and provided plenty of laughs and a banging playlist. The tour was very informative with plenty of great sightseeing stops. The reverse tour is the perfect way to see all the sights without the hustle and bustle of crowds. Kennet river was the perfect spot to see Koalas in the wild. We even stopped to let an echidna cross the street.

Just finished up the reverse itinerary tour today and can hardly explain in words how amazing the experience was! Our guide Gui was professional, polite and warming to my friend and I (along with the rest of the group), was very knowledgeable regarding the Great Ocean Road, and kept us all entertained with fun facts and history about the locations. Despite the long distances covered, and winding roads, Gui drove safely and allowed plenty of time for us to get off and explore each destination at our own pace - he even managed to sneak in a few extra stops along the way! The minibus was comfortable, well air-conditioned, stocked with water, and was filled with Gui's excellent taste in music. The smaller group size also made the experience feel much more like a homey family road-trip which was great. The timing of the tour also meant that each destination was quiet and empty, which made taking photos and exploring much more pleasant, without the need to queue up behind other tourists to take pictures, walk around etc. Overall, I cannot recommend Hit the Road Tours enough - though I don't usually write reviews I had to make an exception for what was easily one of the best experiences I've had on holidays to date. Thank you to Gui and the rest of the team for the memories - I wish you all the best and hope to tour with you again in future!

Orlando was a fantastic tour guide! Even his road trip playlist was where it was at. Our perfect sized little group was blessed with amazing weather and we enjoyed every moment! This was a great way to see many of the stunning spots along the vast Great ocean road, especially for someone like me who’s never been. If I want to come back for a longer trip along the coast, I now know which are my favourite stops I’ll want to revisit!

Gui was our host for a fantastic 12-hour tour and it was worth every dollar. The reverse tour starts at the Apostles and drives back. This is really smart because it’s such a long tour, to end with the Apostles when you’re tired would be a waste. Gui was fun, knowledgeable and didn’t flag once during what must have been exhausting for him! Always felt safe on the drive. We saw so much along the Great Ocean Road and Gui knew all the great spots to have lunch so there was lots of choice. The only slight improvement I could suggest is that the first stop was for bathrooms/coffee at a service station. Could 15 minutes be added to the tour to stop at a local bakery to help a local business? DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

This trip is beyond expectations. The itinerary is well-planned. I took lots of great pictures and most importantly, enjoyed every place we visited. GIU is a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Thumbs up for his music selection during the journey. Highly recommending this for anyone who wants to experience Great Ocean Road to the fullest!
